My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend while we were wheeling the Jeep at Wolf Caves. The place was so nice! We stayed in Room #8 and loved it. The banana bread at breakfast was delicious. It is located right on the square walking distance to several restaurants. The balcony over looking the charming court house with bells tolling was excellent to relax. The shower had plenty of hot water which was needed getting off the trail.||The best part was the friendliness of the owners. We much enjoyed our chats. They have paid attention to every detail.

Love this place! The host is wonderful, friendly and very interesting. I have stayed in 5 of the 8 rooms and they are all decorated so nicely and very comfortable. They also serve the best homemade sweet breads for breakfast along with fruit, yogurts, English muffins, etc…love the Orange Walnut bread!! It’s absolutely the best. The location is perfect for having ez access to everything downtown as you can walk. The outside balcony is a great place to have your coffee or a glass of wine. We are building a small barndo now at our property to stay in while we build a house and I am truly going to miss this wonderful spot when it’s done.

Our rooms were clean and quiet! Our bathtub was nice and the water hot and plentiful. The banana bread was amazing. We sat on the balcony upstairs and drank our morning drinks. We loved the property and will be back in the future for sure!

Just finished our weekend at Reddoor! What a wonderful place! We stayed in room #6 upstairs… our party rented the entire place! We all had everything we needed! The B&B was clean, comfortable, and the owners were amazing!! Highly recommend this B&B and Mason! We arrived Friday and didn’t get in our cars until we left on Sunday! Everything is within walking distance!!

We had three wonderful nights. Monica and Brent were gracious, friendly hosts. The big rooms with high ceilings feel spacious. The lack of a TV was perfect for us and appreciated. Serve yourself breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. We enjoyed our time on the porch looking out at the beautiful Mason Square watching the vehicles go by. We also enjoyed the rain storm that came through town. Being right on the square meant we could walk to everything we went to for the Mason Chamber Festival. The annual craft fair was on so it was fun to see local crafts. We will certainly be back the next time we come for the Mason Chamber Festival. Thank you!

I have traveled all over the world!! The people and service are Wonderful!! The beds are the best!! And everything is so clean. Oh, and don't forget the coffee and banana bread and other homemade bread in the morning!! All around the B&B, there are the cutes most wonderful stores. It's a very eclectic collection of stores, so there is something for everyone. And the owner and their staff are so knowledgeable about goods. And of course they are friendly because it is Texas!! For lunch and dinner there are fabulous restaurants. Almost anything you want from a burger to a steak is all within walking distance. There are also a couple of wine bars still within walking distance. Since I was there last, they added an elevator for your luggage. It's the cutest thing! With all these things right at arms reach, this is the perfect place to go and rest for a few days and take in what the B&B and other places have to offer. This has to be the best place to stay in The Hill Country

Just spent the weekend in the beautiful Texas Hill Country town of Mason. In the heart of this quaint town of 2100 people is the Red Door B&B. We were greeted graciously by Monica who gave us half an hour of her time to point out local attractions an activities. This B&B has only four rooms and each one is unique. As we were the first to check in on Friday afternoon, Monica told me to have a look at the other three rooms. We were in room #1 which was very comfortable but next time I will ask for #4 only because it has a jetted tub. I like that type of thing. There is a balcony running all the way across the inn which gives a grand view of the Mason County Courthouse. It is an excellent place to sit and enjoy a cool beverage as the sun goes down. The breakfast was self service which was good for us because we were quite busy all weekend. Do not pass on the homemade banana nut bread, The only thing that could have made our stay better was more time spent there. I will visit Mason and the Red Door B&B again soon.You should too.
