Red's Savoy Pizza

They have a crazy man as a delivery driver. I never even got pizza. It’s snowy weather and I’m already driving, he passes a stop and turns in front of me, I almost miss him having to swerve around him entering my lane. He then tailgates me with his flashlight waving around in my mirror and waving his flash trying to get back around me. He pulls into the same lot as me and then I see that he’s the delivery driver for Reds Pizza. I go in to tell his manager that he’s got a driver that shouldn’t be delivering and that I’m going to report this car to the police. The MANAGER KICKS ME OUT. So much for safety or service. Absolutely terrible people working here. I would never recommend a business like this. Doesn’t matter how good the food is. Why anyone eats any pizza besides Red's is a mystery to me. It is unique and delicious. The sauce is sparky, and the cheese bubbly. The crust is never soggy. The overall impression is one of freshness. Build your pizza to your own specifications. The traditional square slices make Red's an easy pizza to share, and especially share with kids. Leftovers heat up quickly (but they're just as good cold). Try Red's for other dishes such as cheese toast, salads, pasta, wings, soup, dessert and lots more. Delivery is always super speedy.

I just came off a double header of disc golf nearby at Bethel University and was famished. I decided to try this spot. I’m from out of town - Chicago to be clear - love my thin crust Chicago tavern style pizza and heard this place was good. Well, lo and behold, I’d say this is one of my top ten pizza places so far. (And I’ve traveled to Connecticut, New Jersey, etc. for good pizza.) I got my pie well done - sausage and onions only and it was phenom. Plus, the people working there were pleasant while this Windy City man waited for this pie. Good people. Good food. Love it! This is a pick up place in a mall. And I ate the pie sitting outside in the heat. Best decision I could have made. :)

If you have not tried Red Savoy Pizza yet, you must. When they call it ‘Sota Style’ it really is Minnesotan. The sauce is rich and zesty, and they put enough of it on for you to seriously enjoy it! The cheese is real, let’s face it, Your cheeses is oui and gooey, and the perfect amount. You don’t even need to order extra! Not a fan of the sausage (is there onion in there?). But they’re pepperoni and vegetables are out of this world delicious and fresh just introduced a new friend to your pizza this week and you have a new fan! Trust me, that’s saying something huge because this person is allergic to tomatoes and had it two days in a row! That’s how much they loved your pizza.

So glad that friends and family mentioned the Roseville Savoy to us. You are the real deal finally just like the old downtown Reds Savoy. Perfect Pizza ? ?
