DO NOT GO HERE!!! They do not care for anyone who walks in! I took my 1 year old baby who has been sick and they told me O, she’s fine but keep in mind she was fussy and with a fever of 99.9 took her to her pediatrician the next day(Monday) since this was on a Sunday! He was so upset himself and sadden that they didn’t even take the time to look at her right she had a really really bad ear infection (yes, they checked that too) this is sad!! I do not recommend the reviews are literally true they don’t care!!
Doctor was EDDIE ORTIZ GALLOZA

This is the worst hospital I have ever dealt with. They do not want to work. I went there because I was having severe right side abdominal pain and nausea. The doctor barely accessed me. She told me that I needed a sonogram. But it's going to take the tech an hour or longer to get there. She also stated they do not do diagnosis there and I should make an appointment with my PCP and gave me my discharge papers. I left there and went to Baylor. I had Appendicitis. A few months later my son went there due to a high fever. It was 103. I told him about the experience I had there. He still chose to go. The same doctor came and asked him a few questions. She told him that a virus was going around and he had to let the virus take its course. I asked her if she going to assess him. She said that it wasn't necessary. I asked if she was going to prescribe anything like some antibiotics. She no and mentioned how studies show that antibiotics aren't necessarily good for an infection. We left and went to Baylor. My son had an ear infection and strep. This doctor doesn't care for the patients or her job. She needs to be replaced immediately. I wouldn’t take wounded worm there!

On 10/3 at 11:00 am, I went to the ER because I was running a fever of 104.2 and had the diagnosis of pneumonia from an urgent care. I get to the facility and a woman working the front asked how she could help me. I explained I had been diagnosed with pneumonia and I was running a fever of 104.2, my head was POUNDING, and that I thought I was becoming dehydrated because I couldn’t keep anything down. The woman asked if I had the antibiotics that the urgent care prescribed and I told her yes and I had been taken one full course plus two. She told me it takes 72 hours for the meds to fully kick in and it was normal to run a fever like that with pneumonia. I said 104.2 is normal? Urgent care told me to come here. She went on to explain that pneumonia makes you feel really bad and that I wouldn’t get to feeling better until after 72 hours. So she turned me away. I went in sat in my car for a moment because I was really sick and I go back in and asked her if the headache I was experiencing was normal and she said yep all normal with pneumonia. Needless to say, I never had pneumonia and followed her advice of waiting 72 hours and now I’m in the hospital and have been since Saturday! Had she taken me seriously and ran a simple UA, maybe just maybe I wouldn’t be sitting in the hospital now. I will never return to this facility again.

My eyes started randomly burning in the middle of the night while I was sleep. I eventually woke up to blurry vision as the pain started to worsen. I couldn't drive myself, of course, so I had to ask my mom to take me. She doesn't have the best vision herself and I guess when you wake a parent up at 5am asking to be taken to the ER, the last thing they're worried about is their glasses.

I came to this location as it was the closest and was greeted by a warm and welcoming receptionist! I waited for less than 5 mins before being called to the back and placed in a room. Dr. Blackaby was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to listen to my complaints. It turned out that some dirt or dust had probably gotten under my contacts at some point and scratched up cornea whenever I rubbed my eye. Something that was painful but easy to fix up with some medicated drops and ointment for my eyes.

My issue is with the 2 nurses at the ER station. Although they were "nice," they both were utterly useless. The 1st nurse came in and asked had I filled out my info on the iPad. I told her "no, but I can't really see." My mom also chimed in to tell her this, but ultimately said that she would help me after the nurse still placed the iPad in front of me. Mom tried her best to help but she's not the most tech savvy at 67yo, so I attempted to do it myself. With blurry vision and painful, watery eyes, I pecked my way through pages of forms. Probably 10-20 mins later, a 2nd nurse came in and asked if everything was ok. I told her that I can't really see the screen (the whole reason I'm there in the first place) and that my mom was having trouble as well and asked if she could help us. She pressed a button on the iPad and said, "a live agent will come on the screen to help you." I was thinking that the agent would ask the questions and fill it out as I verbally gave her the answers. No, the agent just told me what all she needed filled out and sent it back to me on the iPad to fill out. After what seemed like forever, the 1st nurse came back in. I believe she came in to turn some machines off and ask what pharmacy I preferred. I told her and she said I would be receiving a paper copy to take to the pharmacist. I asked if they could also send an electric one so it would be in the system by the time they opened. She said they couldn't because my info wasn't in the system yet which has me thinking to myself, "then why ask which pharmacist I preferred if I'm just going to receive a physical copy to take to any pharmacy I choose?" After 10 mins, I go out to the nurses station to see if I can go because in my head, I've done my part. As I approach, I see both nurses at the desk just talking to each other. I understand they could've been actually working but when I first came in, it was only myself and another patient. When I left to go to the nurses station, the room he was in was empty so I can only assume that I may have been the only patient at this time. So you mean with 2 of you here and with it appearing not to be busy, 1 of you couldn't assist me with filling out my info on the tablet or at least explain as to why you can't or not allowed to assist? She said they were waiting on all the info I filled out to be finalized. After awhile, the 2nd nurse came back in with my paperwork and said I was all done. No wrap up. No review over my Rx that the Dr wrote out. No checking if I had any questions. Just a "friendly farewell." My mom, a retired LVN, spotted many things that could've been done differently, but kept the peace due to me just wanting to be done with the whole ordeal.

The ONLY reason why I'm not giving just 1 star is solely because of the sweet receptionist at the beginning and Dr. Blackaby's great bedside manner. I was tired, in pain and frustrated, so my review may come off as harsh, but that was the reality of my visit.

I came in for bronchospam (something I get 3 times a year since I was a kid I’m 30 now) at first I wanted to just leave I don’t know who the “nurse was she didn’t give a name but she’s been doing her job for 25 years ?) she was more worried trying to diagnose me with Covid instead of listening to what I was telling her. All that changed when DR CHRISTOPHER HOUSTON came to my room and already knew what to do for me and he knew what it was for the first time in my 30 years suffering from bronochospams he was the only to recommend a lidocaine breathing treatment best decision ever! To the “nurse” just because you’ve been doing it for 25 years doesn’t mean you’re doing it right! Thank you Dr Christopher Houston
