The Fairview Heights donor center is clean, efficient, and inviting. The staff are friendly, informative, and professional, making for a near-painless experience (just the needle prick). I've been donating at this location since I was a teenager and will continue to go here for years to come as long as they continue business as usual.

Love the Cheez-Its and juice box that follow the blood donation, ensuring healthy blood glucose levels before driving. Any time I mention that I feel a little light-headed during or after a donation, the staff are quick to ensure I'm taken care of.

Even if you don't donate here, donate anyway! There's a huge need for blood. Though I do wish the organization would reel back the frequency of their phone calls. Listening to countless, often robotic, voicemail messages (always messages because I've blocked at least half a dozen different numbers) does not encourage me to donate more. It sometimes frustrates me to the point of not wanting to donate at all.

Super clean and efficient facility, with solid procedures and operations! The technicians are knowledgeable, proficient, and take good care of the donors. The people working here help make donating blood or platelets a pleasant experience! Early morning hours on the weekends. A great place to help our community and nation!

I go every 56 days when I'm eligible. I don't go for the free stuff and I don't go because I love people or something. I just think it's cool laying down and having them take my blood. It's always been kinda fun

Most of the time it's a great experience. Had a few what seemed like newer people perform some uncomfortable sticks (been donating for years) but you gotta learn somehow. Last visit left me a bit unhappy as the person was unwilling to let me sit for a few minutes after battling rush hour traffic to let my heart rate drop. Standard procedure is to let patient wait at least 5 minutes after activity to take heart rate which I did not get. For being in such a "crucial need" of my blood type you'd figure they'd be more accommodating...

I adore the staff at this Red Cross. They are friendly and efficient. They remember the regulars even if you are only once a month. It is a beautiful building. With lots of sunshine and windows, it make donation even more pleasant
