Not bad. It's an all concrete trail. Hence an inner city hike. That runs into Sherwood way. My only complaint is that the city did not take it any further. Personally I THINK They should have extended it past Sherwood way. Into the vacant lots across the road. Possibly somehow winding it up into the twin buttes area. Then back. THAT I THINK would be a very interesting and challenging hike. As is. It's a decent...But over all Boring trail

This is a great multi-use trail system. Overall, if you start from the main trailhead on College Hills, and walk to each end, you'll do around 4.8 miles. There's a loop at the main trail head too, so if you do that it'll be a little over 5 miles. There are sporadic trees, benches, and "art" monuments. There is no water, however. There are no bathrooms, but at each end of the trail, as well as the trailhead, there are convenience stores and restaurants so you'd have that option if you needed it. There's not much shade, so consider that if it matters to you. The trail is very wide, so there's plenty of room for walkers, runners, skaters, dog walkers, etc. Overall a very peaceful and enjoyable walk away from the traffic and roads, and in a little oasis.

No fences up yet so not really a place you can let your dog off leash to play in a contained area. I'll edit my review once fences are up and it can be enjoyed intended.

Bring mosquito spray. Who thought putting a walking trail in a drainage ditch was a good idea? Not a good place to walk your dog. My pooch picked up a ton of sand sprurs.

Avoid unless you want to get eatin alive by the bugs. Walk the loop by the lake instead.
