I got the lemon pepper calamari from appetizer,and that was the best calamari I have ever eaten in my life,the tanginess from the lemon pepper sauce was just the right amount while the calamari was fried to perfection.For lunch I got the grilled lamp chips with. Side of fried rice. The lamb chops were seasoned too good,you could taste the balance of the spices and the meat was not too hard and not too soft,just right.defiently my new spot for eating out.the atmosphere was quiet and calm with a faint sound of jazz music enough to relax you

So yeah, the place was empty when we arrived. Got sat and got our drinks. Within 10 minutes 2 more tables arrived. At that point service began to fade. Nice waitress but not a good fit for her.

Appetizers were delicious and arrived in a timely manner.

We had two main courses. General Tso and I can’t remember the other one but it’s pictured and was based around chicken. That one was pretty good. The general Tso chicken though was so tough you couldn’t cut it with a knife. It was not good. Would not order that ever again.

Portion sizes are way to large and therefor far to expensive. One chicken based meal was $17 bucks! We usually eat across town but decided to try this place since it’s closer. The prices are double here! Can’t justify that. Portions across town are large as well but half the price and service is amazing.

May try again later on but idk, that price is just crazy.

I ate here for the first time today for a ladies' luncheon. I had the Szechuan Beef. It was perfectly seasoned/spicy and came with an egg roll, soup and tea for $15. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Only 4 stars for the atmosphere as it was rather cold in the dining room.

I wanted to give the Red Lotus a high five for their food, staff, and service. As part of a MeetUp group in Austin, we had a Chinese New Year Celebration dinner. Our reservation was for 60 people ... They didn't bat an eye, served great food (More complements on the food given by our attendee's than I can count), and excellent service. Tell me somewhere else that can and do that! The atmosphere is non assuming ... If you're looking for good food, good service, reasonable pricing ... This is the place for you. If you haven't tried Red Lotus Grill, I highly recommend you do!

The pad thai did not smell good. & they didn’t allow me to send my food back, I was forced to get something else. I will never eat here again.
