Solid option for some Asian food. They have a fairly diverse menu: lots of sushi rolls, dumplings, Thai options, American Chinese food. I decided to try their pan fried pork dumplings as well as their General Tso chicken.

The General Tao’s chicken was just okay. The portion was pretty great, and the price was pretty okay. The meat was a little chewy, which I wasn’t a fan of, and the chicken chunks were a bit too large. The sauce itself was fine but nothing special. It was overall okay.

The dumplings were quite good. They char these very nicely when they are pan fried. I also really enjoy the sauce, which was flavorful and savory. They do use a dough for the wrapping, though.

All in all, a decent spot for Chinese takeout. Lots of options to choose from. The dumplings are what I would get again if I visited.

Hunan beef was tender, Philly roll is so pretty I almost didn’t want to eat it.

I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats on the 31st of August, 2024. Disturbingly, I found maggots in the broccoli - see the attached photo. This is absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend that you allow your family to eat anything from this restaurant.

Super tasty! Good portion sizes too. We got General Tso’s chicken, black pepper sauce chicken, and string beans in ginger sauce. All were super good and each sauce was delicious. Food was ready in a reasonable time frame and pickup was easy. Definitely will be ordering from them again!

Love this restaurant for Chinese food. Just a word of advice if you like dishes spicy this is the place to go if you like slightly spicy don't ask for extra spicy. You won't be able to eat it ?. But that's good at least you know they don't mass produce.

I've eaten at Chinese restaurants on the West Coast and down in the deep South as well. This is a very very good place. The food is always hot and not greasy and has wonderful flavor. Service is great in the atmosphere is relaxing. This is my go-to for Chinese food. Thank you for having such a great place to enjoy Chinese food. I've had many more dishes than I checked off and I've never had anything that was less than a five-star! *

Delicious. Refreshing to eat Chinese at a place actually interested in making quality food. We each had an egg roll for appetizers. They are huge and awesome. They have actual spicy mustard, it bites back. It's been forever since I've had good, really spicy mustard with an egg roll.

I ordered General Tso's Double Delight. The chicken was lightly breaded and meaty. This was NOT the awful, mass production, 90% breading chicken so common at other places. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The shrimp was even better than the chicken! I think they actually make their General Tso sauce, it wasn't the thick flavorless canned stuff. My only critique is that I think General Tso was a little more angry than their presentation, it was not very ?.

My wife had Bride & Groom. It was awesome, I would order it next time. The beef and chicken were both tender and delicious. The mushrooms in this dish were great too.

I love getting Red Tea House with friends. The food portions are large, hot, and fresh. The quality and taste of the food is unmatched, and the prices are affordable. Best Chinese-American food in Pittsburgh.
