Dont spend your money, its not worth it. Had high hopes for this show until I read in the FAQ that it's not a burlesque show but a variety show. That being said I am still very disappointed. I paid for good seats and they were folding chairs. Some people got the comfortable chairs/ couch. Before the show there was a bright light spinning around and it would shine in my face every time it came around which was every few minutes. There was only 3 ladies and two who did multiple "acts'. Really it was dancing and struggle to take off the bra or courset. There was no story line. The best out of the ladies was the belly dancer. It was verry disorganized. The "show" stopped multiple times to deal with different things. There was a guy in the show at the end and he was better than the ladies. And no I'm not saying that because I'm a girl. The show lated less than an hour. Again all in all not worth the money at all.

My husband and I attended the 6 pm "burlesque" show and immediately felt ... fooled.
What happened to the art of burlesque? This company butchers it in every single way.

1. This is horribly advertised. This is in no way a burlesque show. I felt immediately sad for anyone that was thinking they were seeing " "burlesque" for the first time. Their website is written as if a chat bot wrote it. Which in hindsight is probably 10000% true. The address for this show changed 3 times before we even got there. Ticket said 1 address, email confirmation said another, and then our text said a different one.... super sketchy. The show ended up being in a club. Yes a club it was dark and dreary with fog everywhere. You could hardly see anything. It was in no form a proper set up for a true burlesque show.

2. Where were the burlesque dancers ? Out of the 3 dancers (not including the drag show or improv male strip dance) only 1 actually did burlesque or at least knew what the art even was. There was 1 belly dancer which I do love a good belly dance but... paid to see burlesque. And there was another dancer who well showed everything off immediately without even seducing the crowd. Hard to say that was burlesque when it felt more like a strip club. The entire routine was just sad. The one burlesque dancer was great. Mainly because that's what we paid to see. There was no stage since this was in a club. There was just concrete slab for them to dance on. Just wasn't the vibes. I've seen many proper shows with proper dancers and set ups. Acrobatic stunts with dancing and tantalizing in between.

3. Extremely disorganized. I'm assuming she was the manager idk but she kept picking up the dancers garments... mid set. How hard would it have been to let the dancers finish before interrupting their performance. Its as if they wanted this to be over with just as much as the crowd. The only burlesque dancers music was cut off towards the end before she even finished her set!

All in all the 1 hour we spent there felt like the longest hour of our life. Yes we laughed and clapped along but at the end of the night we paid for a burlesque show. Not a drag show ... not a male strip show... not even a belly dancing show. We left relieved to get out of the building and unfulfilled with wanting true burlesque. If this is your first time wanting to see a burlesque show DO NOT go here. Save your money and try literally anywhere else. Burlesque shows are supposed to be tantalizing, seductive yet still hold some form of class not trashy, dark and makes you leaving feeling the ick.

Never given a review like this... Hard to believe this business isn't a scam operation. Was called by a Shevanie the day before the show and told the event was cancelled and they agreed to a refund. Only they kept the money and told my credit card company I didn't abide by the cancellation policy. Not a good idea to purchase tickets online with the scruples they've displayed.

**Update. Go to the Avante Garden show instead. Absolutely recommended

Not worth the money. They didn't even check tickets we could have gotten in for free(?). The venue had folding chairs. Drinks were no good. The three performers were okay. Not a lot of stage presence, not engaging. At one point they kind of solicited tips it was cringe. I've seen better burlesque performances.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!! Don’t be fooled by the fake 5 star reviews! There are PLENTY of true burlesque shows in Houston that have incredible performances. This one I wouldn’t pay $5 to see.

I can't believe how incredibly bad this was. The only good thing was the host. I purchased tickets to show my husband a good time, however this was so bad all I was able to show him was the exit.

Even their drinks were bad. It's ok to have novices working but then charge novice prices. You can throw ice in a glass splash alcohol in and call it a drink then charge $15! Let me mention the alcohol was wellness too.

The bad attitude when I mentioned the terrible drink was uncalled for. I requested a refund. Standby for final results.

The details on the website and what you experience with the actual show are so far apart from eachother. Thisbis a review for the Houston show. The performers are amateur at best, lacking in any sort of training in burlesque, only somewhat attractive and one was overweight and nowhere near attractive. We have seen plenty of burlesque and this one tops the list as the worst show of all time! And to top it off, a very large, overweight, untalented, drag queen was the MC. People were leaving in disgust at this show.
We spent $275.00 and that's the last time they will see any of my money. Absolutely trash!

Last night was my first burlesque show and I left unimpressed. There were 4 dancers total. 3 of them did 2 routines each. There was 1 belly dancer. I don’t think that fits the whole burlesque theme however she was one of the better dancers. There was actually one good burlesque dancer. The other 2 seemed to not have a lot of experience. They were dancing on a black stage with no kind of backdrop or props. There was no sense of organization. The venue had no one checking you in when you first arrive. About 10-15 min before the show someone announces over the microphone for people to come up to Check in. Honestly, you could just walk in without tickets and they wouldn’t even know. We did buy premier seats and there was no such thing when we got there. It was first come first serve seating. Yea.. just don’t do it. Save your money.
