If your looking for something to do in the winter months in Milwaukee this is a good stop. I think the pricing is a little high to rent ice skates $8 per person. Can get very busy with lots of people.

This is a small outdoor ice skating rink. There is usually a lot of people on the rink. With many beginners and kids skating you can't go fast on this rink at the same time it makes it totally acceptable to try skating if you're not an expert. Many people we saw were beginners including myself. There is usually a line to get rentals so bring your own skates to save time.

I am so impressed. Went there tonight for the first time with my daughter. We did not have reservations but were able to get on due to cancellations. I called ahead to find out what the likelihood might be just to be sure. The two guys working And the rental shop were very very friendly. I couldn’t believe that due to the fact that my daughter and I both have our own ice skates the skating was free. What a blessing! The ice is beautifully maintained and the Zamboni came out between skate sessions. It was very family friendly. Starbucks is not open the entire time the skate rink is. Some people might want to be aware of that ahead of time. There is a large tented area for people to change in and out of skates and get out of the cold if it is windy. I Want to thank Milwaukee County and all of the sponsors of the ice rink. We will be back for sure!!

It’s a great place for ice skating. Has a Starbucks connected, so halfway through you can get a nice warm cup of hot chocolate!! It’s a little packed but has very beautiful scenery. Best rink around for miles. It’s not like other rinks because this one is outside and in the middle of downtown(Milwaukee). Would recommend for a birthday party or just a get together! Great place for winter fun!!

Great place, had so much fun. They offer little 'penguins' help small children. They only offered figure skates in larger sizes, which is why they are getting 4 stars. My husband could only handle the figure skates for a short time. Otherwise, we had a blast and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Love the rink, the music and outdoor space!! I bring my own skates and so it's free. The warming house is adequate, plus Starbucks attached makes for warming up fun! I go every year!!❤ Can't wait to skate there again this year!

Cute atmosphere, but that was our only positive experience. Waited an hour and 20 minutes in the 1 line they have available for skate rental. We did go in the evening and expected a crowd, but the place is just not set up for it. Skates are overpriced and horribly dull. After finally getting on the ice for 3 minutes, they cleared it for the zamboni, which was long past due. No supervision on the ice - not an employee in sight outside. Then had to wait 20 minutes in the 1 line for skate return. Far too much waiting around - not a fun family experience at all.

Took my kids there last winter and struggled with skating due to how crowded and how rough the ice was. Decided to go back this year for a second chance. Was not as crowded, but still the ice was not smoothed out and all the grooves from skaters made it hard to skate. With it being almost an hour drive and struggling with enjoying skating I doubt we will go again.
