Always busy because it's some of the best food in town. Been a staple in Red River for decades. Can't go wrong with any of their steak choices, or try the trout and quail. A bit pricey, but you're on vacation and deserve it.

We went here for a granddaughter’s birthday. The kids menu was very good & more than they could eat. We had the grilled chicken with okra & baked potato all were perfection. My daughter in law had prime rib. It was over cooked & looked like shoe leather on the plate, on pink at all on the inside & very dry. My son had the elk burger. He sad it was delicious. Waitress did a great job for a party of 11 with 7 small kids!

We went after a day of skiing on 12/312024,
Went early and was able to get a table in the Bar. My wife and myself were greeted by Marshall the Bar tender who was simply amazing!!!! Marshall’s kindness and outstanding customer service made the whole dinner and evening so wonderful!!! The dinner and dessert along with drinks were so good!!! Marshall and the bar tending crew handled the busy New Year’s Eve with class and outstanding service!!!!

Great Job and we will always be back to Texas Reds as we come to Res River 10-15 times a year! Texas Reds never is a bad experience and the staff cares about customers!!!

Thank you Marshall and Texas Reds for the great experience in the last evening before 2025!!

The KC strip steak was great! It was a little tough but had an excellent flavor. The service was excellent also. The atmosphere was great. It was a wonderful experience. Be sure to go early to get a seat or be put on the waiting list.

Had a very nice experience while dining at Texas Reds. Wait wasn't all that long for a Friday night, bartender was very friendly and both our steaks were cooked great! Tyler, our sever, made the experience better with his fantastic personality. Very cozy restaurant and would go back. Cheers Texas Reds

We have eaten here many times over the years and this visit was nothing short of awful. I’ll start with the wait, which I understand can’t be helped. We were initially told it would be an hour and 45 minute wait, but it ended up being a 2.5 hour wait. We did have a couple of margaritas on the rocks while we waited that were excellent. Upon arriving at our table, we had to ask for our waters 4-5 times from our waiter. The initial beer order that was placed before any food items ended up arriving with our main course. The buffalo and elk burgers that were ordered medium were well done and cold. My wife and I ordered prime rib, medium rare that was raw and cold as well. As inattentive as the waiter was and the condition the food was served to us in, I’m sad to say we will never go back.

VERY accommodating and VERY good! I have some food restrictions and they were able to accommodate to them without any issues whatsoever. They will substitute olive oil if you’re sensitive to seed oils (unless it’s fried foods but that’s the majority of places). Our waitress (I wish that I could remember her name) was such a sweetheart and my steak was delicious!

Everything here was excellent! Seems pricey, but it’s expected when you’re going to a steakhouse. Worth every penny - One of the best ribeyes I’ve ever had.
Live music was excellent wasn’t overbearing and loud. Our waitress was nice and helpful. Never waited long for anything.
